GetClimate 1.2

The CMCC GetClimate application provides a visualization of global data concerning monthly average temperatures and precipitation levels. Users can access localized data by clicking on the icon or find specific information about any location worldwide using the search bar.

Data are presented in a line chart illustrating average temperatures in degrees Celsius and precipitation in millimeters per day, covering the period from 1980 to 2013. This presentation offers a comprehensive overview of climate trends over recent decades for any geographic location.

The underlying dataset is derived from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) TS version 3.22 gridded data set. The application was developed by the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC), an Italian research institution dedicated to advancing scientific and applied research in the field of climate change at an international level.
